Hey, I'm Phoebe!
AÂ contemporary artist inspired by the landscapes of New England. I studied at Pratt Institute in New York, but my journey with painting has been mostly self-taught, shaped through independent study and learning directly from other artists.
My work is deeply focused on water. I don’t approach it just as something to replicate, but as something to understand, almost like studying it through a scientific and sculptural lens. What fascinates me most is how light moves across it.
The ocean, especially, never stays the same. It’s constantly shifting: light, reflection, movement, never fully settling. And that’s exactly what keeps me coming back to paint it.
